Why Quick Eaters Eat More Than Slow Eaters

There is a satiety centre as well as a hunger center in the hypothalamous of our brain . When stomach is empty and blood glucose falls, our hunger centre is stimulated. We feel hungry and we take food . After thirty minutes, the satiety centre gets stimulated and we stop eating. If a person eats slowly small amounts of food for thirty minutes, he feels satisfied and cannot eat further whereas if he eats quickly he can eat huge amount of food till thirty minutes as the hunger centre remains stimulated for this period. So quick eaters can eat more and have a tendency towards obesity.
